Alison Krauss has been a country music star for more than 30 years. Her birthplace was in Decatur, Illinois on the 23rd July 1971. LeAnne Kymes was also one of two most recent Grammy Award recipients. Alison Maria Krauss is an American singer-songwriter and bluegrass country musician. Born on the 23rd of July 1971. She began her career in the field at the age of a young child, and when she was just 10 years old. After signing with Rounder Records, her first album was released in 1987. In 1989, she was asked to be a part of Alison Krauss & Union Station who she is a part of.
