Amber Benson bio
Amber Benson (born April 14 70 years ago) is an American actor, performer as well as a writer and director. Most famously, she is best known for her character in the TV drama Buffy the Vampire Slayer as Tara Maclay. She also produced, directed and appeared on her own movies Chance as well as Lovers Liars & Lunatics. Also, she starred as Bride in Kiss the Bride movie. Benson was born on January 8, 1977 in Birmingham Alabama, daughter of Diane Benson and Edward Benson psychiatrist. Her younger sister is Danielle, who has a career as an artist. Her father is Jewish while her mother was raised Southern Baptist Benson grew up attending the Reform synagogue in Alabama. Benson is a performer involved in numerous TV and movie shows after Buffy was over, most notably The Killing Jar. Behind the camera Benson utilized her writing talent to create her own Ghosts of Albion television series. In 2010, she also directed Drones. Buffy claims that she's discovered and counted over 1800 Slayers and 500 of them collaborate with members of the Scooby Gang. Slayer Potentials are now being uncovered once they reach the proper maturation. For example, Soledad became a Slayer at the age of 16. Ruth Connell will play Rowena in Supernatural Season 10. According to the reports, she's an old-school mysterious witch.
